Pacific City Development Huntington Beach

Pacific City was the original name of the early oceanfront village that would eventually become known as Huntington Beach. We loved the name, and we loved the opportunity that came along with it – to take a 31-acre piece of land fronting Pacific Coast Highway, situated across from the iconic Huntington Beach Pier and Time Magazine’s recently named “Best Beach in America”, and once again bring to life a “city” with a heart and a vision for a bright future for art, leisure, creativity, community and commerce. In short, a vibrantly rich and amazing place that celebrated the unique and natural beauty surrounding it.

Our inspiration and vision for Pacific City was born.

Pacific City’s retail hub houses 191,000 square feet of unique shops, an upscale Equinox fitness facility and spa, an exciting collection of first-to-market restaurants and unique eateries with the most progressive menus and stunning interiors, and Lot 579, a unique artisanal market and California culinary experience with multiple food purveyors offering everything from gourmet sandwiches to the freshest sea-to-table fish, beach fare elevated to creative culinary status across categories from tacos to meat pies, fresh greens to the artistry of the perfect cup of coffee, to a simple, cold beer with the perfect burger.

Our outdoor environment is nothing short of awesome, with vistas and views from every plaza, deck and patio. Stroll throughout Pacific City, experience the beautiful, indigenous landscaping, hang out awhile in comfortable outdoor lounges, enjoy the fire pit in the evenings, view the sunset from the deck, or linger in front of the outdoor movie screen. Enjoy music, pop-up events that will surprise and excite for short periods of time before they are gone and new ones appear, and experience, at every turn, a place that embodies the best of what SoCal culture has come to represent – freedom, creativity, entrepreneurship, and an intangible quality coveted around the world for it’s “cool” factor that is not easily duplicated but sought after nonetheless.

A 4-star luxury oceanfront hotel, Pasea, opens in early summer, 2016, and The Residences at Pacific City, 516 beach-luxe apartment homes, come on line in late 2017.

All three elements combine to create a place that celebrates the collective excitement, big dreams and flat-out passion of the progressive merchants, restaurateurs, culinary explorers, artisans, designers, developers and very hard workers behind it. We’re unbelievably anxious to share it with you.
