Just read this article from Market watch, article, that revealed that the home builder confidence has climbed to an 8-month high. This could be great news to get more building projects to market to address what has been a prolonged housing shortage. here is a snippet of the article;
“The closely-watched sentiment tracker rose to its highest since March, the industry group said Thursday. That was the second-highest reading since the housing bubble of 2005. Economists surveyed by Econoday had forecast a one-point decline, to 67. Any reading over 50 signals expansion.
The sub-index that tracks views current sales conditions also rose two points, to 77, but the gauge of sales over the next six months dipped one point to 77. The tracker of buyer traffic rose two points to 50.’
